Are Wrap It Up Raw wraps gluten-free?
Yes. Every Wrap It Up Raw wrap is gluten-free and wheat-free. The wraps are made from ten whole-food ingredients — organic carrots, ground flax seed, sun-dried tomatoes, red pepper, onion, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper — with no flour, no grains, no additives and no preservatives of any kind.
Do these gluten-free wraps fall apart when you roll them?
No. Rolling and cracking is the most common complaint about gluten-free wraps, and it is the problem these were built to solve. They fold and roll around fillings without tearing. As one customer put it, they are “the most delicious, usable — as in they actually wrap without breaking — gluten free wraps I have ever eaten.”
How much fibre is in a Wrap It Up Raw wrap?
A 6″ small wrap has 7g of fibre and a 9″ large wrap has 12g. A conventional wheat wrap has roughly 1–2g. The fibre comes from the whole carrots and ground flax seed the wraps are made from, not from an added fibre supplement.
Are the wraps vegan?
Yes. The wraps are vegan, plant-based and dairy-free. They contain no animal products, no eggs and no honey. They are also organic, non-GMO, raw and paleo-friendly, which makes them one of the few wraps that suit several restricted diets at the same time.
What makes these different from other gluten-free wraps?
Two things: they are raw, and the ingredient list is short. The wraps are dehydrated below 118°F / 48°C rather than baked, and they are made from ten recognizable ingredients where many gluten-free wraps carry twenty to thirty-five. They are also made locally in St. Catharines, Ontario.
How much do the wraps cost online?
Small Tortilla Wraps are CAD $25.99 for one bag, $49.99 for five bags and $89.99 for ten. The multi-bag packs include shipping, which is why they cost far less per bag than buying singles. What is the shelf-life of the wraps?
The shelf life of the wraps are 10 days fresh, 3 weeks refrigerated and 6 months frozen. We recommend freezing the wraps, as they do not stick together. When you’re ready to use one, simply take it out of the bag and by the time you have your toppings ready, the wrap is defrosted!

What does Organic mean?
Organic food is, in general, food that is grown without the use of artificial pesticides, herbicides, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
What is Dehydrating?
Dehydrating is the best way to preserve the essence of raw fruits and vegetables. When raw food is heated to an internal food temperature of 118°F / 48°C or higher for an extended period of time, its nutritional values begin to deteriorate, especially enzymes. Dehydrating does not subject foods to the high temperatures associated with cooking or traditional canning methods.
What is Raw?
For a food to be considered Raw it must not be heated or “cooked” over a certain internal food temperature. The most frequently quoted and accurate temperature is 118°F / 48°C based on the book “Enzyme Nutrition” by Dr. Edward Howell. Advocates for the Raw food diet believe that cooking foods at a high heat or for long periods of time is toxic because cooking transforms some ingredients, notably oil and salt, into harmful chemicals and destroys antioxidants, phyto-chemicals and enzymes contained in food.
Raw Food supporters feel that a diet rich in raw foods can help prevent degenerative diseases, retard aging, provide enhanced energy and make people feel more emotionally balanced. Raw foods contain enzymes which are catalysts to regulate the digestive process in the body and organically grown raw foods are thought to have much higher nutrient values than foods which are cooked.
